A blog is a web log. A journal that you write online. blogspot.com is one site. It is like sharing your diary with the world, unless you mark it as private. The advantage is that you can write in your blog from any available computer and you can keep photos and links and all kinds of things in one place. I love mine. Though mine is just on EC and not as cool as some of the other blog places I have seen.
A blog ,an abridgment of the term web log, is a website, usually maintained by an individual, with regular entries of commentary, descriptions of events, or other material such as graphics or video. Entries are commonly displayed in reverse chronological order. I have one that deals wit Figure Skating, here it is http://thetripleaxel.blogspot.com/
It is easy to obtain one. You can go to https://www.blogger.com/start on any which one you want, and create a free account.

"Blogs are places where Americans may go to protest, without being heard." - Jedediah Bartman
Blogs are web logs that are updated regularly, usually on a daily basis. They contain information related to a specific topic. In some cases blogs are used as daily diaries about people's personal lives, political views, or even as social commentaries. The truth of the matter is that blogs can be shaped into whatever you, the author, want them to be.
Where Did Blogs Come From?
The roots of blogging can be traced back to the mid 1990's. Who the very first blogger actually was is unclear, as the art of blogging did not really take hold until 1999. The original "weblogs" were link-driven sites with personal commentaries. The very first blogs were human guided Internet web tours. While initially thought of as diaries or online journals, blogs have evolved into the latest fresh web content.
