Does anybody know how to include your blog in the search engines?

I have a blogspot with blogger, but how you know I can't find my blog in Google or in other searcher. I heard about a little trick to include it. Please I need the best advice!

I believe your blog are listed in google search since blogger is own by google which will auto listed. However, you can submit again your UR if you still worry about it (http://www.google.com/addurl).

Well, to do it the proper way, you need to let a search engine 'crawl' your website. Let's take google, type into google, 'webmasters tools' and create an account etc. You will then be able to add your blog to the list of sites google will look at and eventually add to it's database *hopefully*.

Though this isn't a quick surefire way of getting into google, there are pointers on the site to let you now what to do to increase the chance your site gets listed.

You can use http://www.google.com/addurl/ to submit your blog but actually there is no need to do this because google itself searches for new sites and adds thousand or millions of new sites everyday.

One thing is that it is not sure when your site will appear in google search result. It may take few weeks , months or even more than year for your site/blog to appear in search result.

If you regularly update your blog and have quality, original contents , there is greater chance that your blog may get indexed sooner but not sure when!

I also have been blogging in Blogger for the last one year and it has taken about a month for my blog http://positivensuccess.blogspot.com/ to appear in google and other major search engine result.

You don't need to worry about that, Google Search engine takes time to index your blog. You need to wait and keep blogging, perhaps you should consider using some tools to leverage your blog and not wasting your time thinking getting it indexed.
