How to enter a layout code in a myspace blog?

I'm trying to enter a myspace layout code into a myspace blog, but the code doesn't show up.

The blog is supposed to be like this:

What do I have to do for the code to be visible?

copy and paste the code into your about me section.

make sure its all copied, u may have missed a letter out or somethin by accident, then just paste and save

well the way i did it wuz dat i went to coolchaser.com n i selected a blog layout n let them do the layout thing, but for that u should open two edit profile sections, one you leave as is (make sure you dont close it) and the other you erase the previous layout.. after you set to automatic post layout, select "update blog too"

then you go to the open edit profile page and save all changes (this will make your profile look as before *but with a blog layout*)
