What is the best website to make a blog on?

I think I am going to create blog but want to know what the best site to create one is. I want to be able to customize it a lot. Also, how easy is it to get people to actually read your blog? I always have something interesting to say but don't know if people will ever comment me back. Thanks to all.

in my opinion bebo.com is pretty good as you can do loads of thing including make a blog.however i think my space is the best because its easy to set up and easy to modify.if you have an msn account you are allowed a sort of myspace thing its not as good as myspace but its alryt. however bebo.com is also good for talking to ppl and leaving comments
