What is the best site to start a blog on?

I am looking to start my own blog, but I want to make sure it is on a popular site where people will read it. I plan on discussing sports, video games and whatever else is interesting at the time. What are the best/most popular sites to blog on?

Blogger and Wordpress are the top two blogs. I personally don't like Blogger as they are owned by Google who also owns YouTube. Long story there if you know the evil history of what Google is up too.

I have used WordPress for a year now and must say I am more than happy. They had a glitch few months ago but quickly fixed it. I get a decent amount of traffic and have no issues. From doing searches on google, I easily see my blog entries all over, they do a well job of posting outside and inside themselves.

Their layouts and options are good and you don't have that dumb blue bar on top that says BLOGGGER, which I love NOT having.

Aol, Yahoo, MSN, etc blogs are "kiddie" blogs if you care to be 14. Adult blogs are ones I mentioned. There are others but not as popular yet. You can just put blog into google and they will come up.
