What are some ways to get visitors to your blog?

I would like to get my blog to have more visitors, but I don't know how. I would appreciate some help, and not just like make sure its eye catching. Where could i post a link to my blog?

well, i am running a social network 'isocialize.ning.com' and i went to Search engine optimizations like google, submitted it

google.com/addurl

also, my website always has viewers, few join but i get more viewers, you could join, and POST and get lots of visitors to the blog on there

its up to you, advertise in forums too, it takes time but eventually you will get the hits you need.

lots of programs say free traffic and require lots of work, some mean it some dont, you really have to be careful about that

when advertising in forums, post in every section, but when you do, advertise to where you are allowed to advertise. go to google and say advertising forums and post there. if you post somehwere else, you could get reported, removed.

Believe it or not, one of the biggest ways is to link to blogs and other websites that already have lots of visitors, and ESPECIALLY, have THEM link to you! If you have a pal whose blog has lots of visitors, then get that pal to advertise for you.
