How do you embed a video clip in a blog entry?

The instruction says (copy and paste the code which appears in a box named embed) but what always comes out are the strings of commands when I paste them in the blog entry. What's it that I'm doing wrong.

Please help an internet/desktop computer dummy here.

You're attempting to embed this video in "WYSIWYG" mode, instead of the blog editor's "HTML" mode.

Different blogging platforms have different modes and ways to adjust modes, but you need to go to the HTML editor and paste your video embed code there (flash videos like Youtube, etc.)

If you're using blogger(blogspot), when you enter the editor of the page, you'll get to see "EDIT HTML" and "Compose" mode (in blogger draft). The code you copied should be pasted in the Edit HTML mode instead of the compose mode.

Always do the typing in the edit html mode and preview it. It'll give you a better result.

hey if u r using mozilla firefox then go to the addons page and try unplug...........its an addon to get embedded content off the page.........you cud also try download them all(addon) but that too stupid to use.....not so user frendly
